How long do your products keep?

Gluten-free and vegan products are slightly different from our traditional baked goods, due to the fact that we use no preservatives or highly processed ingredients. While each product is slightly different, generally speaking the products are meant to be eaten as quickly as possible to ensure maximum freshness and flavor. Since air will naturally dry out the products over time, keeping them in air-tight containers at cool temperatures will extend the freshness for a day or two.

Can I place a special order? How far in advance should I do so?
We are a bake to order facility, we ask that you call to place an order at least 48 hours in advance. For cakes or special occasions, we ask for a minimum 7 day advance order.

Do you deliver?
Yes! We deliver from Palm Springs to Palm Desert with no charge.  Additional area may require a delivery fee. Wedding deliveries and set up starts at $10.00

Do you ship?
We ship from our etsy site. We ship our cakes in a jar. Please call us for a quote and for more information!

Do you do traditional desserts?
Yes, all of our items can be made with traditional ingredients.

Nutrition Information

What gluten-free flours do you use?
We use a variety of flours including, brown and white rice flour, coconut and sorghum flour.

What kind of oil do you use?
We use Coconut Oil,  Grapeseed Oil and some vegetable oil – in our products.

Do you use any genetically modified ingredients (GMOs)?
None of our ingredients are genetically modified.

Allergy Information

Candiland Dessert Company menu is constantly expanding and growing to create allergy-friendly treats for everyone. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate every allergy. Ultimately, it is up to you to check all ingredients to ensure safe consumption.

Are you nut free?
We do use nuts in our peanut butter cupcakes, walnuts in our carrot cake,  coconut products and almond meal.

Is your facility a dedicated gluten free facility?
Since we do not have a retail location and share a kitchen we are not currently certified, but we take great care in the cleanliness of our equipment.
